Weekend

I had a 4 day weekend this past weekend. It was great. My mom and grandmother were down from Maine. Haven't seen them in a month or so. It was really nice to see them. Especially to just hang out with Mom. We had my new SIL's Bridal Shower on Saturday. I am so excited that she will officially be part of the family in Feb. It has been a long time coming but very worth it. She is so much like a real sister to me and I am so grateful that we are becoming closer. It was great to have her and my brother over while my mom was here. I know she enjoyed it as well.

My hope is that I continue to grow closer to my soon to be sister in law. So far it has been awesome! We have really grown closer these last few months. It is a wonderful feeling to know I will have someone there when I need someone. It is also great to know that someone so wonderful will always be there for my brother!

That's all the mushiness I can handle for now..

Winter

Okay so I am going to complain. SHOCKER I KNOW!!!

I do not understand why EVERY time it snows here in Connecticut everyone complains. HELLO you live in NEW ENGLAND what the HELL do you think it is going to do in the winter.
Than they complain that they have to be stuck in the house because of the snow - again first thing that pops into my head is why do you live here?? and the second to pop in my head is why do you have to be stuck inside? Maybe if you went outside and PLAYED in the snow you would come to love it as much as I do. Yes at 24 I love to get all bundled up in my snow pants and PLAY. It is one of the greatest things about living in New England.

You are not SNOWED in unless:
--it snows twenty plus inches at one time
--it is a real BLIZZARD like the one everyone talks about that happened WAY before I was born.. (maybe 78?)
--The state is in a state of emergency and you are told you can not leave your house

So people get off your A** and enjoy one of the many thrills of New England or MOVE the HELL away from here!

Wii – The Other Woman..

So my wonderful brother and his soon to be wonderful wife bought me Animal Crossing for Christmas. I was instantly addicted. I love every minute of it. So on Sunday night my husband says to me "I do not understand why you are so obsessed with this game, it looks stupid!" My reply was "well maybe you should try it!" I thought I was safe because I would have never thought he would try it. He usually just plays the sports games. Well he played Sunday night until Monday morning at 5am!!! Than he played again on Monday from 10am - 2pm than again from 5pm - 7pm than from 10pm until who knows when!!! This morning I told him he is officially obsessed with the game but it is MY game so I should be able to play whenever I want. He cordially replies with it is MY Wii!
Thus the battle for the Wii begins...

First Time..

I am blogging. Not really sure why I am though. I guess I just decided I would start one. My life is not exciting so there will probably never be anything worth reading. Maybe this will just be my outlet to thoughts.
