Do you want to know what's hardcore?


Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred!!!

I picked it up on Sunday at Wally World and started it yesterday. I felt the Wii Fit wasn't really doing much. Everyone kept talking about the 30 Day Shred, so I figured it must be good.

It is NO JOKE, it is intense, and damn it, it is hell!!!!!! Dear Lord, Jillian Michaels is the DEVIL!!

But..... it is also AWESOME! I never feel like I am not working hard. I have to push myself just to get past the warm up and than through interval 1, than really push to go through interval 2, and if I make it to interval 3 but golly I am going to finish!!

I am PETRIFIED to see what levels 2 and 3 hold but that won't be for some time. I need to be able to get through level 1 without thinking I will collapse at any second first!!!

So 2 days in and I feel I can stick with it! I hope so! Wish me luck!!!

  1. This looks good! And great post! So now, is it an aerobic or working out style? I am looking for a new work out video, but worry about the neighbors downstairs with making too much noise with any jumping/running. They have already banged on the walls when I dropped my phone on the floor, so I can imagine how they would be with me having a full on workout routine! lol

  2. Hey! It is crazy!!!! It has strength, cardio, and abs. Warm ups and cardo include jumping jacks, jumping rope (you don't need rope, just the motion) and butt kicks. So there is a fair amount of jumping. I don't think they would hear you but I know how crazy they are.

    You need weights and a mat. So maybe if you get a mat and do it on there it would be extra cushion, so they don't hear.

    I would try doing jumping jacks for a bit when you would workout and see if they notice?
