We had a very exciting week! We had our big ultrasound on Tuesday. It was 40 minutes of pure bliss. Just watching our little monkey move around was incredible. She looked just perfect in every way. Yes I said SHE! We are having a baby girl! We could not be any happier.
Above is the newest picture of her. It is amazing how much she has grown into. When we first saw the image we were in awe of how different she looked from the first ones we had received! This whole experience is precious and brings me to tears thinking about it. I am seriously amazed that I am growing another person inside of me.
We have not picked out names yet. We had a few but now we are not so sure. I think we will be looking for a while! We have a middle name down - Joyce. That is my Grandma's name. She is very important to me. She is a warrior in her own right and is one of the greatest people I know. I am happy to share a part of her with my daughter. When our baby girl is here that will make 4 generations of woman in our family. The thought of that is wonderful. I can not believe it! Few people can say that!
At first I was a little nervous about having a girl! I am a very "boyie" person! I like sports and to rough house and the thought of dolls and princesses scares me! But I have come to realize that it doesn't matter if I know anything about those things because I can learn. Plus, at one point in my life I loved those things too, so I am sure it will all coming pouring back to me! Our baby girl will like whatever she wants, if she love sports like us well thats great! if she likes dolls then I will get her the sports one! Just Kidding! I will get her whatever she wants!
I am just glad she is healthy and growing well! I am ecstatic to meet her in a few months! It seems to be flying by! I just hope Eric and I can be as exceptional parents as mine were for me. I learned so much about myself and life from both my mother and my father and I just hope I do half as good a job as they did for me!
